Naxos Cheese - Making Industry was established in 1990 by Emmanuel Vas. Koufopoulos. Emmanuel Koufopoulos created a special group of traditional cheese - making and dairy products made in Naxos, by exploiting the island's tradition and the family experience in producing cattle - breeding goods in combination with the help of modern technology. Our products are all made from fresh cow, goat and ship milk which is collected every day with a lot of care from our producers.
HARD CHEESES
Agios Isidoros: From fresh pasteurized Naxos goat milk. Ideal for pasta and as table cheese. With special spicy flavor, due to the four years maturity. Perfect with wine.
Gryuere Koufopoulos: From fresh pasteurized cow (80%) and sheep (20%) milk Naxos. Ideal for pasta and as table cheese.
Goat gruyere: From fresh pasteurized Naxos goat's milk. Perfect for all uses.
Naxos Gryuere P.D.O: From fresh pasteurized cows(80%) and goats(20%) Naxos milk. Ideal for all uses.
Skordotyro (cheese with garlic): From fresh pasteurized goat and sheep milk. Can be used for pasta saganaki and table cheese as well.
Komos with red chilli: From fresh pasteurized Naxos cow's and goat's milk. With a spicy taste. Ideal for pasta with red sauce, saganaki and also served as table cheese.
Komos with peppers and herbs: From fresh pasteurized Naxos cow's and goat's milk. With a special spicy and strong taste. Ideal for pasta with red sauce, saganaki and also served as table cheese.
Smoked cheese: From fresh pasteurized cow milk and goat-sheep milk of Naxos. The cheese is then matured through a smoking process. Ideal to combine with a good wine.
CHEESE SPREAD
Kopanisti P.D.O: Depending on the season from pasteurized Naxos goat's or cow's milk. Soft cheese with quite strong and spicy flavor.
Tyrokafteri: From pasteurized Naxos goats and cows milk. Cheese spread with hot flavor.
Mizithra: Soft cheese from whey and fresh milk (mostly cow milk)
Xinotiri in soft form: Depending on the season from pasteurized Naxos goat's, sheep's or cow milk. With sour flavor ideal for salads dako and cheese varieties.
Kopanisti with pepers: From fresh pasteurized cow’s, goat’s and sheep’s milk of Naxos and with a variety of whole peppercorns added. No preservatives and dyes.
Cheese Salad Naxou (cheese spread smoked/ with garlic/ with pesto/ with tomato): From fresh pasteurized cow’s, goat’s and sheep’s milk of Naxos which can be found in three varieties, smoked, with grounded garlic or with pesto. No preservatives and dyes.

Xinotiri with black sesame: From pasteurized Naxos goat's milk. With sour flavor that is completed with the black sesame.
Thilokotiri: Sweet and sour semihard cheese from cream and milk
Koroniatiko
Xinotiri: From fresh pasteurized cow, goat and ship milk. With a sour taste. Great for salads, pasta and with watermelon.
DAIRY
Butter from cow or sheep milk: From fresh pasteurized milk. Ideal for all uses.
Traditional Yogurt (cow-sweep-goat): From fresh pasteurized milk.
Drained Yogurt (cow-sheep-goat): Depending on the season from pasteurized Naxos goat's cow's or sheep's milk.
Koufolpoulos Milk (full-light-goat): Fresh pasteurized Naxos milk
